variative pattern because almost every culture in Indonesia has their special
pattern which they put in as the Batik.

designer for almost all around the world.

has become a lifestyle, not only in the form of traditional cloth, but also in
any form in all areas of life.
Nowadays, a lot of designer

and Diane von Furstenberg.
There are 3 common
styles of Batik, such as Sekar Jagad, Sidomukti Magetan, Kraton, Jepara, and
many more.
Batik Sekar Jagad
comes from Java, more precisely Yogyakarta. Jogja Batik has a fresh meaning of
the universe is the beauty or beauty that makes people who see it so
fascinated.
Batik Sidomukti
Magetan comes from the Magetan district, Batik has basic motifs of bamboo
images and like other batik-batik, usually batik is used on formal occasions or
ceremonies and meaningful hope to get the peace of mind.
In the beginning,
Batik Keraton is so exclusive that ordinary people are not allowed to wear this
motif and only wear the Sultan and his family.
But later, the
regulation was revoked and the common people were allowed to wear this motif.
Among the causes of
this exclusive motive is that the inventor of the motive was originally the
daughters of the palace of Yogya itself which in fact is still a member of the
Sultan's family. Actually, there are many models of Batik clothes owned by the Yogya
Palace, but the ones in this picture are the most popular.
Batik Jepara can be
divided into two types, namely the old motifs and new motifs.
Old Jepara Batik has a
pattern with black lung color, brown elephant, flora and fauna leaves and green
thread.
While the new Batik
Jepara Batik is a lot of variations. Batik Jepara itself is also known as Batik
kartini.
We can find various
kinds of batik motifs in the city of Jepara.
